I am Sujata Patil, the founder of Immer. Wearing jewelry has been a part of my daily life since childhood. Yet, one question always crossed my mind: why is quality jewelry so expensive? Gold is unaffordable, while cheap jewelry turns the skin green, loses its color, and becomes unusable within three months. In 2022, I personally researched various materials Sterling Silver, Stainless Steel, and Brass. I wore every single piece myself every day, whether in water, while sweating, or while sleeping. Only the pieces that proved durable and gentle on the skin made it into the Immer collection. That personal journey filled with experimentation, setbacks, and refinements is reflected in every piece of Immer jewelry today.

Every piece we make starts with an honest material choice. Our sterling silver is genuine 925 - 92.5% pure, hallmarked, and hypoallergenic. Our gold-plated pieces are built on a sterling silver or brass base with at least 2.5 microns of plating which might sound technical, but simply means it's thick enough to actually last, unlike the paper-thin coating on most high-street pieces. And then there's our 316L stainless steel surgical-grade, fully waterproof, sweat-proof, and completely unbothered by daily life. Wear it to the gym, the beach, or straight through a Mumbai monsoon.
